Our Commitment
Welcome to Wheelies Wheelchair, your trusted resource for researching electric wheelchairs. Our mission is to help you make informed decisions by providing thorough, research-based reviews and comparisons of products available on Amazon. To keep our site running and continue providing valuable content without charge, we participate in affiliate marketing programs, including the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. This page explains how that works and our commitment to you.
How Affiliate Links Work
When you click on certain links on our site and make a purchase on a third-party retailer's website (like Amazon.com), we may earn a small commission from that retailer. These are called "affiliate links." As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
It's important to understand that these commissions are paid by the retailer, not by you. Your purchase price remains exactly the same whether you use our affiliate link or go directly to the retailer's site. Think of it as the retailer paying us a small referral fee for sending business their way.
Why We Use Affiliate Links
Maintaining a comprehensive review site like Wheelies Wheelchair involves significant time, effort, and resources. This includes researching products, analyzing specifications, gathering user feedback, and writing detailed guides. Affiliate commissions allow us to cover these operational costs, ensuring we can continue to provide high-quality, free content to our readers. It's how we keep the wheels turning on our research efforts!
Our Commitment to Honesty
Our primary goal is to provide unbiased, accurate, and helpful information. The fact that we earn commissions through affiliate links never influences our product selections, reviews, or editorial content. We are committed to transparency and integrity.
- We do not accept free products or direct payments from manufacturers in exchange for positive reviews or product placement.
- Our reviews are based on extensive research of product specifications, features, and, most importantly, genuine customer reviews and experiences found across various platforms.
- If we wouldn't recommend a product based on our research, we won't recommend it simply because it offers a higher commission. Your trust is far more valuable to us than any potential commission.
How We Choose Products
We understand that purchasing an electric wheelchair is a significant decision. Our product selection process is rigorous and research-driven, focusing on what matters most to users:
- Thorough Specification Analysis: We dive deep into manufacturer specifications, comparing features, motor power, battery life, weight capacity, and portability.
- Extensive Customer Review Aggregation: We analyze hundreds, often thousands, of customer reviews from Amazon and other reputable retailers to understand real-world performance, pros, and cons.
- Comparison of Features and Value: We look for products that offer the best combination of features, reliability, and value within different price ranges.
Our process is entirely research-based; we do not conduct hands-on testing of products. We rely on the vast amount of data and user experiences available to guide our recommendations.
No Extra Cost To You
Using our affiliate links does not add any extra cost to your purchase. The price you pay for any product remains exactly the same as if you went directly to the retailer's website. In some cases, we may even be able to share exclusive deals or discounts we come across, which could save you money. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.
Final Notes
By choosing to make your purchases through our affiliate links, you are directly supporting Wheelies Wheelchair and helping us continue to provide valuable, well-researched content for the electric wheelchair community. We genuinely appreciate your support.
If you have any questions about our affiliate disclosure or how we operate, please don't hesitate to contact us through our Contact page. We are always happy to clarify any concerns you may have.
